Here's Everything We Know About Tank's Wedding To His Longtime Love

Their love story has been 18 years in the making!

Pusha T wasn’t the only one saying “I do” this weekend. R&B crooner Tankaka Durrell Babbs, 42, married his longtime girlfriend, Zena Foster, 40, on Sunday, July 22, in a lavish ceremony at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles.

They geared up with loved ones before the big day with a cookout. “I’m excited to see her walk down the aisle, her dress and her whole heavenly aura just captivate the place,” the singer told PEOPLE before the nuptials.

They said their vows in front of 200 friends and family and a wedding party that included some very special stars like the best man, singer J. Valentine, and groomsman Jaime Foxx...

The groom and his groomsmen flexed in tuxedos by Greyscale. Tank added a stylish touch with a custom bowtie by DLeak...

The bride wore a lace J’Aton Couture gown from Lovella Bridal for the ceremony. Then she slipped into a second dress by Zahavit Tshuba for the reception...

Friends to the couple and newlyweds themselves, singer LeToya Luckett and her hubby, Tommicus Walker, enjoyed themselves at the photo booth fun...

The couple's daughter, Zoey, 10, served as a junior bridesmaid and son, Zion, 3, was ring bearer. Tank and Zena dated 18 years ago and welcomed their first child together before breaking up. Tank told PEOPLE, “When we were together before I felt like she was the one.”

“I had given her a promise ring and then life happened. People make mistakes. At the time you’re like, ‘OK, maybe I was wrong.'” Despite everything, they stayed in touch while co-parenting and found their way back to each other almost four years ago.

“I think we both ended up having to go through our own personal journeys. In my mind I thought I’d never even go out on a date with this woman ever again in life,” says Tank. “And then one day I look up and we’re living together and we’ve got another baby on the way and we’re in love again. It’s just one of those things where we just couldn’t fight it.”

He added, “All the mistakes that we’ve made it still didn’t change the fact that I loved her that much and wanted this for us. They say, ‘In God’s own time,’ and he really put some time together with us to make this what it is.”
