Simone Biles is America's golden girl in more ways than one, and it surely won't be long before she gets the biopic treatment.
When it comes to who will play the Olympic champion, Simone already has her actor of choice picked out — but Twitter is definitely not here for this one.
So, who does the 4'8", mahogany-skinned beauty want to play her in a film? That would be — drumroll, please — none other than Zendaya.
Aaaand, Twitter let out a collective "WTF?" on that one.

Simone shared her choice on Access Hollywood, prompting even host Scott Evans to ask her if she wanted to reconsider, given their obvious physical differences. But Simone held her ground, saying, “But that’s fine. Everyone says I look taller on tv anyways. I want Zendaya to play me, I’m sorry.”

Well, the height difference is obviously not the only thing that's making folks pause. Twitter is giving her all kinds of side-eye over the choice:

Welp, we certainly understand the skepticism over this choice, but at this point it seems pretty clear that this casting is never gonna actually happen — especially considering the backlash Zendaya got when she tried to play Aaliyah.
