A$AP Yams Co-Executive Produced A$AP Rocky's New Album

Rapper reveals late crew mate's contribution to his next effort.

A$AP Rocky's next LP has a special touch from the recently deceased A$AP Mob co-founder, A$AP Yams.

Yams, who passed away suddenly this month, co-executive produced Rocky's upcoming Long. Live. A$AP follow-up, orchestrating it alongside Grammy-winning producer Danger Mouse (of Danger Doom and Gnarls Barkley fame), the rapper revealed.

"Danger Mouse and Yams," Rocky said to Billboard in a chat after his big-screen debut at the Sundance Film Festival premiere of Dope. "I'm really intrigued for people to hear how that combination sounds. Yams manifested his powers into it."

Although the album has yet to receive a title, Rocky did mention that it's "basically done."

"I finished it right before Yams passed away," he said.

Long. Live. A$AP, his studio-album debut, dropped in 2013 with a slew of major features and singles like "F**in' Problems," "Wild for the Night" and "Fashion Killa" as well as the BET Notarized video "Goldie."
