Cuba Gooding Jr.'s wife has filed for separation after 20 years of marriage to the actor, TMZ reports. Sara Kapfer cited irreconcilable differences in legal documents filed on Tuesday. She is seeking joint physical and legal custody of the couple's children, two out of three of whom are minors. 
Gooding, 46, and Kapfer, 45, were high school sweethearts and married in 1994. They began dating in 1986. No details were given to explain the split. 
Hopefully one of Hollywood's longest-lasting couples will find their way back together.
