Tareasa 'Reesa Teesa' Johnson Inks Deal With CAA

The online blogger and writer is the creator of the popular TikTok series “‘Who TF Did I Marry?”

Tareasa “Reesa Teesa” Johnson, the creator of the popular TikTok series “Who TF Did I Marry?” has signed with CAA, Deadline reports.

Online blogger and writer, Johnson has become a social media star in a short period appearing on “Good Morning America'' and on “The Tamron Hall Show” for her series.

In a statement, Johnson expressed her excitement about being represented by the renowned agency.

“I am excited to join the CAA family in what has become an extraordinary and life-changing opportunity. I hope to bring this story and personal experiences to an even bigger platform with the hope of helping those in similar circumstances know they are not alone,” says Johnson.

Debuting on Feb. 14, the 50-part series details her marriage to and divorce from Jerome “Legion” McCoy, who she claims is a pathological liar. In less than three weeks, “Who TF Did I Marry?” earned more than 400 million impressions and her followers jumped from 8,000 to now, 3.6 million and counting since the release of the series.

McCoy, according to TMZ,  said that Johnson wanted to reconcile with him and threatened “to expose him if he didn't comply.”

In a recent interview with The Cut, Johnson shared how her tumultuous marriage and divorce impacted her.

“It was actually hard to do the entire series. You’re putting yourself out there in a very vulnerable way. If you’re going to tell this story, you’re gonna have to admit that you f**ked up,” Johnson explained. “I can’t sit here and say that I don’t still blame myself. The feelings that I had in 2021, those feelings are trying to come back in 2024.”

A graduate of Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Johnson is currently employed in law enforcement and is based in Atlanta.

Although she is enjoying her newfound fame and success, Johnson plans to keep her job in law enforcement for the time being.

“As quickly as this has happened is as quickly as you will find yourself on your ass,” she said in her interview with The Cut. “No job, no money, no friends, because you were feeling yourself too much because you ended up on Good Morning America.”
