Cardi B Wishes She Still Had Her 'Thick' Post-Pregnancy Body
On the eve of Mother's Day, Cardi B took to social media to reminisce about the early days with her infant son, Wave Set.
Wave was born on Sept. 4, 2021, but it took Cardi and her husband Offset several months to not only give fans a glimpse of the baby, but also share his name, Wave Set Cephus, partly because of the comments she received after her daughter Kulture was born.
"We went through a lot of sad things when it comes to Kulture — terrible behavior that not even the older kids have ever been through," she told Essence last month. "So many people will post mean, disgusting things, just to get a reaction from us."
While they've kept little Wave mostly out of the spotlight, Cardi shared a cute throwback of her little one from around Halloween, telling fans, "I wanna be this thick again."
Since Wave was born, Cardi has been focusing on her blended family, getting back in the studio, and releasing episodes of her Facebook Watch series, Cardi B Tries.
While there's no word yet on when her next album will be released, Cardi let the music scene know she's still got it when she dropped a verse on Kay Flock's hit, "Shake it."
