Donovan McNabb Begins DUI Jail Sentence
Donovan McNabb, this is your life. You went from once playing in the Super Bowl as one of the NFL's top quarterbacks to now being Inmate #T231133.
TMZ Sports is reporting that former NFL star officially began his 18-day jail sentence Monday in Arizona, stemming from his DUI arrest in late June.
As a condition of his sentencing, though, McNabb has been granted work release, meaning he could leave the jail to work during the day, but must return to sleep in his cell.
McNabb was arrested on June 28 after rear-ending a stopped vehicle at a traffic light in Gilbert, Arizona. His blood alcohol content was more than double the legal limit, according to TMZ.
The incident marked the second DUI arrest for the former six-time NFL Pro Bowler, who was also booked on a DUI in December 2013.
