YG Debuts My Krazy Life Cover
YG has revealed the cover art for his long awaited solo debut, My Krazy Life. The Compton native's real life imitates art in the visual which shows YG taking a mugshot with a nameplate around his neck.
The black and white image is a nod to the six months he served for burglary back in 2009, time he has credited with inspiring him to officially turn his life around.
Similarly, the music of My Krazy Life reflects YG's personal story. "My album is catered to my life," he told Vice.com last December. "S--- that was really going on in my lifestyle, coming from where I come from, the West Coast, the culture out there: gang banging, drugs, parties, and, just like every other culture, the same s---. It's a lot of gang banging going on. It's shooting going on. It's robbing going on. It's f---ing b----es. All that s---."
The album is executive produced by Jeezy and features beats courtesy of DJ Mustard, Ty Dolla $ign, and Terrace Martin. Confirmed tracks include the Drake-assisted, "Who Do You Love;" "Left, Right," and the platinum single, "My N---a" featuring Rich Homie Quan and Jeezy.
According to YG's Twitter page, My Krazy Life will be up for pre-order "soon." The album drops March 18.
