Eminem Brings Out Dr. Dre at Wembley Stadium
Eminem performed a historic show at London's Wembley Stadium, and who better to help celebrate than the man who helped get him there? Dr. Dre made a surprise appearance during Em's sold-out show Friday (July 11) night.
The 41-year-old Detroit native was performing "Dead Wrong," his 15-year-old collaboration with the late Notorious B.I.G., before his special guest hopped on stage. Em led the crowd of 90,000 in a chant of, "When I say Dr. you say Dre!" and just like that, The Doctor appeared.
The duo performed "Still D.R.E.," "Nuthin But a 'G' Thang,' and "Forgot About Dre." Other songs on Em's set list included "Without Me," "The Way I Am" and "Lose Yourself." He opened the night with "Bad Guy," from The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
Despite becoming the first rapper to headline a show at Wembley, the night didn't go off without a hitch. According to the UK's Telegraph newspaper, sound issues were so bad that "everyone who attended has a case for a refund."
Em played a second show Saturday night with Odd Future and Danny Brown as openers.
