‘Black Ink Crew' Star Phor Gets Emotional About His Battle With Depression, And Twitter Has His Back

"I'm just feeling better off dead."

Black Ink Crew: Chicago cast member Phor made the brave confession during a recent episode of the show that he has been battling depression for some time.

The gravity of his mental health came into question for his loved ones after he began to express suicidal thoughts. Luckily, fans of the show and his friends alike rallied around him to reassure him that he is loved.

In a gripping scene, Chamaine struggled to find the words to comfort Phor after he revealed to her, "I'm just feeling better off dead."

In a gesture of love, Ryan then pulled him aside to let him know he has a support system that won't let him fail.

"This s**t may be hard, but you ain't gotta do it on your own," he said. "I love you. You're the s**t. You're worth something! You're valuable. I tell my kids every goddamn day, you're successful. Go be more successful!"

Van and Charmaine also had a heavy exchange about Phor needing professional help to address these suicidal thoughts while he, on the other hand, wanted to take some time to think on it.
