Big News for Tupac Biopic All Eyez On Me

The long-delayed film scored a major victory.

We never thought it would happen. After years of delays, multiple director changes and plenty of controversy, the long-awaited Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me is finally in the can.
According to Global Grind, the cast wrapped up the final scenes in Las Vegas earlier this week. Producer LT Hutton shared a video of Demetrius Shipp Jr., who portrays the late rapper, riding around with Dominic L. Santana (Suge Knight) on Instagram. As we know, the rapper was shot on the Vegas strip following a Mike Tyson fight in 1996.

Directed by Benny Boom, the movie is expected to be released in September, in time for the 20th anniversary of the rapper’s death and the All Eyez On Me album. Undoubtedly, the film hopes to emulate the success of last year's N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton.
