R. Kelly Has 32 New Chapters of Trapped in the Closet
When R. Kelly released the first set of songs in the Trapped in the Closet series in 2005 and followed up with 17 more chapters in the following two years, many thought the series would never end. Although it's been more than four years since we've heard anything out of the dramatic "hip hopera," R. Kelly recently revealed that there's more to come in the series—much more.
TMZ caught Kells outside of an L.A. gym where he talked about his infamous Trapped in the Closet song series.
"Aside from me being silly and not having a job and not having nothing else to do sitting around the studio, I've always wanted to be a movie director …and that's pretty much my movie directing seeping out of my music," said R. Kelly. "Trapped in the Closet is like an alien, like I always tell people, and by the way I got 32 more chapters that I'm trying to put out now but it takes a lot of money to do that so we actually looking for investors."
Trapped in the Closet isn't the only creative project Kelly is pushing. Originally set to drop on Nov. 15, the R&B star's autobiography Soula Coaster: The Diary of Me is now scheduled for a 2012 release.
