Charlamagne Made A Bold Speculation About Logic Amid Their Four-Year Beef

Logic reportedly cancelled several New York interviews in light of his new album release.

Charlamagne Tha God stopped by the Pizza and Chill podcast to talk about trolling on social media and mental health when the conversation took a turn toward his four-year beef with Logic, Complex reported.

  • The radio hosts were discussing Charlemagne's perception of Tomi Lahren and Candace Owens, who are often embroiled in controversy over their divisive views, when the subject came up.

The Breakfast Club co-host shared that he didn’t think Candace was purely trolling on social media, which prompted Pizza and Chill host Lisa Ramos to ask how he felt about Logic calling him out on his new album, "Confessions of A Dangerous Mind," that dropped in early May.

I don't do the Breakfast Club 'cause Charlamagne is shameless / That's the only one I leave out when I run my bases / Do your research 'fore you call somebody homophobic / You make a living off of controversy and you know it,” Logic raps on his track, “clickbait.”

  • At the time, Charlamagne clapped back by dubbing Logic "Donkey Of The Day" during his Breakfast Club segment. Unbeknownst to him, the tension broiled even hotter.

Now, he says that he heard “through the grapevine” that Logic cancelled all of his New York interviews with outlets like The Today Show, Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, Angie Martinez and Genius for his album’s press rollout as a result.

“I just chalked it up to he’s trying to sell records,” Charlamagne said of the feud. “He just wants attention for cancelling it now,” Ramos interjected. “He wants the feud to continue.”

  • As for why the Maryland rapper took aim at him, Charlamagne speculated a four year old interview might be at the heart of the matter. He claims social media twisted a question he asked Logic after the interview got awkward when Charlamagne asked Logic who raped his sister after the rapper discussed the matter during his interview.

Charlamagne didn’t seem convinced that Logic actually had personal beef with him and wrote the rumored incident off as a publicity stunt. Logic hasn’t responded to the claim yet but only time will tell if he will fall for the bait-and-switch.
