While Diddy already turned 50 over a month ago, he wanted to delay his party in order to honor and celebrate the life of Kim Porter, who would’ve turned 49 on Sunday (December 15).
It wouldn't be a Diddy party without all of his celebrity friends. The event was star-studded and included appearances from Naomi Campbell, Cardi B and Offset, Pharrell, Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monae, and Leonardo DiCaprio. He also had a showstopping performance from his dearest friends, Mary J. Blige, and Lil Kim. However, perhaps the most surprising development that came out of the party was that both Jay-Z and Kanye West were there.

The coolest 50-year-olds re-unite
The relationship between ‘Ye and Hov has reportedly been rocky for years, but it looks like they put aside their differences for the event. According to a source close to PEOPLE Magazine who was at the party, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce were accompanied their respective husbands with each staying pretty close to them during the festivities.

Diddy also made the event a family affair as his mother Janice and all of his children attended. According to PEOPLE, the music mogul’s sons Justin, 25, Christian, 21 and Porter’s late son whom Diddy adopted, Quincy Brown, 28, gave a toast. Additionally, Diddy was pictured with twins Jessie Jamesand D’Lila Star Combs, who recently celebrated their 13th birthday.
Midway through the celebration, PEOPLE reports that a giant cake with “LOVE” written on it was brought it while Mary J. Blige sang him “Happy Birthday.”
