Eric Holder, Nipsey Hussle’s Accused Murderer, Allegedly Holds First Interview From Jail

A two-minute video of the attempted interview with the man alleged to be Holder was posted online.

It appears Eric Holder, the man accused of murdering Nipsey Hussle, is allegedly trying to speak out.

  • As fans are aware, Nipsey, born Ermias Asghedom, was slain in front of his Marathon clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. Holder was arrested two days later in connection to his murder. Prosecutors believe Holder held a brief conversation with the revered rap artist and community altruist before fatally shooting him.

Thus far, Holder is awaiting trial and is scheduled to be back in court on March 18. A couple of weeks ago, the host, Terrell Foster, of the Real Whirl Podcast managed to contact and attempt to interview a person alleged to be Holder from jail. The podcast published a two-minute video of their conversation  on the YouTube channel on February 13.

  • “There’s two sides to every story...I wanted to reach out to you ‘cause ain’t nobody reaching out to you to get your side of the Nipsey Hussle thing,” Foster explained. “Everybody is...how can I say it? They got you pegged as this murderous thug individual and don’t nobody but the actual people who was there know what happened. I just wanted to tell your side of the truth of all of this. That’s all this is.”

The alleged Holder said that he’s unable to talk about his case since he’s still on trial. However, he promised to give Foster a call once his trial is over.

“I’mma keep your number and I’mma call you after this. I’m finna go to trial so after the trial when I find out everything, I’mma hit you up and holler at you fo’ sho’, bro,” Holder said.

  • This comes after the New York Daily News reported that Holder will likely go to trial sometime around March or early April. He is currently facing six charges, including one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
