Trump Seemingly Didn't Know The Words To The Anthem Last Night At The National Championship Game And Twitter Destroyed Him For It

"He clearly doesn't know the words, yet he thinks Colin Kaepernick is a son of a b***h for kneeling during that very anthem."

The thousands of fans who packed the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Monday night — and the many more watching from home — saw an absolute classic College Football Championship game with the Alabama Crimson Tide rallying to defeat the Georgia Bulldogs, 26-23, in overtime.

As epic as the national title game turned out being, though, people couldn't help but talk about President Trump seemingly not knowing the words to the national anthem before the game kicked off.

Cameras zoomed in on Trump on the field during the anthem and the celebrity-in-chief clearly had trouble singing along, which paved the way for Twitter to drag him to hell and back.

After all, this was the same man who called NFL players protesting during the anthem "sons of b*****s" last year. Yet he seemingly doesn't know the words to that same anthem? Wow. Here are several no-chill reactions from Twitter and one very special response on Instagram.

  • Watch this video of Trump on the field last night and you'll see how much trouble he has with the words of the national anthem

    Shaking our heads. Unreal.

  • People were immediately like, 'Hold up!'

Well, it certainly appears that way.

  • The Struggle is real, huh, Trump?

It gets crazier by the day with this guy.

  • Others flat out said that the president of the united states doesn't know the national anthem

Was this what he meant by "Make America Great Again?"

  • Claudia Jordan and others brought up the sheer hypocrisy of Trump attacking protesting NFL players for months, yet not knowing the anthem's words

    Talk about it!

  • Would you like to offer Colin Kaepernick an apology, Mr. Trump?

    Trump has some nerve.

  • But perhaps the best response of them all came from former White House photographer Pete Souza

    Boom! Game over, Donald.
