Pusha T Condemns Kanye West’s Antisemitism
Pusha T is speaking out in regards to the controversy surrounding Kanye West, who has, in recent months, been going on rants that have been called anti-Semitic, both in person and on social media.
During a recent Los Angeles Times interview, the Virginia Beach rapper, who has long been a close friend and associated with Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music label, Push noted it’s been “very disappointing” past few months.
“Definitely affected me,” he told writer August Brown. “To describe it, I’d say it’s been disappointing, very disappointing. You know, just as a Black man in America, there is no room for bigotry or hate speech or anything like that.”
King Push also spoke candidly during the interview on what West has meant for him when it comes to creating, noting that he feels a sense of “freedom” and reflected on both the personal and broader importance of landing his first-ever No. 1 debut with his 2022 album It’s Almost Dry.
Most recently, Kanye received criticism for bringing Nick Fuentes, a holocaust-denying, unabashed racist, to dinner with former President Donald Trump.
