Floyd Mayweather Needs to Work on His Marriage Proposal Game

Did the champ really pop the question to Shantel Jackson via text?

If you're in the public eye, just know that your text messages can always come back to haunt you.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. might be feeling a little of that Monday morning, as alleged text messages that he sent to his ex-fiancée , Shantel Jackson, have surfaced and they include a marriage proposal he allegedly sent to her.

"This is what I offer to you. Let's get married move in together you can go back in forth to L.A and stay at the condo," Mayweather allegedly texted Jackson in April 2014, as reported by TMZ Sports. "I promise I will get you in three A-list movies this year and I'm willing to go to counseling to make us work and you can get the stuff you want and I'm willing to change but I need you to have a better attitude."

Sheesh! Sounds more like a business transaction than a relationship.

These text messages were all obtained by TMZ Sports in court documents as part of Jackson's lawsuit against Mayweather for assault and battery.

Jackson also has text messages that the undefeated boxing champion sent her in April 2013 that have him allegedly threatening to upload damaging videos on social media. The most scathing text of all, though?

"I took you from rags to riches now you back to rags b****," Mayweather allegedly texted her. "That's why your out selling s*** going on petty ass auditions fronting to people like your doing big s***."
