Alisha Wainwright, Black Actress In The Middle Of Justin Timberlake Cheating Scandal, Is Getting Attacked On Twitter

But one good thing has come from all the misogynistic trolling.

Justin Timberlake sparked headlines recently when he was spotted by paparazzi holding hands with a beautiful woman that is not his wife, Jessica Biel. The actor and pop star got a little too cozy with Alisha Wainwright, his co-star in the upcoming film Palmer, during an outing with the cast and crew of the show in New Orleans.

After reports of cheating reached a fever pitch, JT was forced to respond via a statement — and apology to his wife — posted to his Instagram account. JT claims he had a lapse in judgement when he canoodled with Wainwright (in a video of the incident, he appeared to be heavily intoxicated), and that nothing happened romantically between them.

  • While JT fans seem ready to forgive the former boy-bander for the incident, many are unfairly — and inaccurately — branding Wainwright an opportunist, among other misogynistic characterizations.
