Ray J Speaks Out After Vandalized Car and Alleged Murder Threats: "That’s What It’s Come To?"
Ray J came to the internet with his worries after his car was sadly vandalized post-holiday weekend.
The singer, reality television personality, and tech entrepreneur posted an Instagram Story on Monday (December 2) showing his badly scratched ride and smashed window, which he was easily able to pull from his door.
“This what y'all want to do to me. I got car seats inside for real," Ray J said while showing the damage. “That's what it's come to? You know, and for what I'm trying to do. You know, I know, like, I know, like, okay. Alright.”
The concerning video follows Ray J alleging last month that there was a threat on his life, claiming to have been shot at. In the clip below, the father of two said that although he escaped the gunfire without injury, the alleged shooter was connected to a previous dispute in which he wouldn’t apologize for having involvement in.
"N***as just tried to shoot me and tried to kill me n***a and you want me to apologize n***a? F*** you," Ray J said.
According to TMZ, in October, Ray J got into a nightclub argument with Diddy’s sons, Quincy Brown, Christian, and Justin Combs, before Chris Brown allegedly broke up the melee. In an Instagram Live session with Nicki Minaj, Ray J would later clarify that the incident didn’t turn physical and that the group made amends.
"No, we didn’t have a fight. We had a big argument right outside the club," Ray J said around the 19-minute mark of the video below.
"This time, I think I got loud and got aggressive," he said. "But it was the third time this happened, so I felt like I needed to stand up for myself."
He continued, "Even though I was talking shit and we were having a lot of crazy words, I was walking that way to avoid the issue. So that’s what happened and it’s unfortunate."
