Three days after a fatal police pursuit at the hands of two Louisiana police officers left one 6-year-old autistic boy dead, justice has been served. The officers are now under arrest and charged with murder.

CBS News reports that the the boy's father, Christopher Few, who was at the wheel of the vehicle, was wounded when the officers opened fire. With it all being captured on video, the head of the Louisiana State Police says it is one of the most dusturbing things he's ever seen. Jeremy Mardis died on contact while in the front seat of his father's car.

After fervent investigations, it was concluded that the father and son were shot by Marksville police officers Norris Greenhouse Jr. and Derrick Stafford. They are both now being held without bail.

According to reports, both officers surrendered on Friday night and were then charged with second degree murder for Jeremy's death and the attempted second degree murder of his father. Both officers were said to be quiet as they were rushed out of the Avoyelles Parish Jail in cuffs, and would not tell state police investigators why they wanted to pull over Few, before the gunfire ensued.

"That video was incredible," Col. Mike Edmonson, head of the Louisiana State Police, said. "I mean, as a father, much less head of the state police, I looked at the tape, I said this is incredibly disturbing."

Furthermore, the incident was recorded by a third officer with a body camera who called for backup. A source said the officer told investigators that Few was not acting in a threatening manner toward the police, whatsoever. Those rumors that Few had a warrant out for his arrest have also been proven to be false.
