Kanye West Suspended From Instagram For Bullying And Harassment
Kanye West will have to do without Instagram for a full day.
According to TMZ, the social media company suspended the rapper/producer after he went after estranged wife Kim Kardashian, her boyfriend Pete Davidson, Davidson’s writing partner, and Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
A spokesperson for Meta told the outlet that Kanye’s recent posts violated Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying and he’ll be blocked from using the app for 24 hours. Additionally the spokesperson said Meta will take additional steps if further violations happen.
In some of ‘Ye’s most recent posts, he attacked Davidson, writing that, among other things, he should “Apologize to your family for being in your family.” He also continued his ongoing verbal assault of comedian DL Hughley, and made a racist joke about Noah in a post that has since been deleted. He’s also called out Kardashian over her parenting and custody arrangements of their children.
