  • "Never Let Go"

    "Never Let Go" is a highly anticipated psychological thriller/horror from director Alexandre Aja. As an evil force takes over the outside world, a mother (Halle Berry) and her twin sons (Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins) cling to survival, bound by their protective bond. But when one of the boys doubts the danger, their connection unravels, sparking a desperate fight for survival. The film opens in theaters on Friday, Sept. 20.

    "Tyler Perry’s Sistas" returns for its eighth season on Wednesday, Oct. 16. In the new season of the comedy drama, viewers are sure to remember the dramatic cliffhanger we left off on. Gary finally got what was coming to him, but, in true "Sistas" fashion, the details of his death remain a mystery. With a long list of enemies, anyone could have been responsible for his murder, making the hunt for Gary’s killer the central focus of the new season. And while fans hope Gary is truly gone for good—after enduring his manipulations for so long—you can never be sure with the unexpected twists this show is known for. 

  • "Zatima"

    BET+ has announced that the third season of the "Sistas" spinoff "Zatima" will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 3.The just-released trailer for the comedy drama proves it was well worth the wait. A major showdown is on the horizon between Zac and his brother, who shockingly crosses the line by getting physical with Fatima. On top of that, the couple might be expecting a baby! The trailer also reveals that Danni’s ex, Preston, will be joining the drama, making him one of the few "Sistas" characters to cross over to "Zatima" — and we certainly have no complaints about his arrival.

    "Trope," released Thursday, Sept. 12, is a new horror film that promises to deliver both suspense and terror. Starring Leslie “Big Lez” Segar, Caryn Ward Ross, Claudia Jordan, Jazz Anderson, Asia Harmony, Gabrielle Rivera Valedon, Chiderah Uzowulu, and Robert Sisko, the film follows the harrowing story of three women and two daughters who gather for a weekend in a remote cabin. Their getaway quickly turns nightmarish as they discover that a decades-old evil, which nearly claimed their lives in the past, has resurfaced to hunt them down one by one.

    "Deadly Intentions" is set to be released Thursday, Sept. 19, is a thrilling new film that delves into the high-stakes world of crime and deception. Starring Jazmine Robinson, Rayana Briggs, Deji Laray, Artris Lavonna Woodard, and Donny Carrington, the movie follows two sisters who work as valet attendants by day but moonlight as burglars, targeting the homes of their unsuspecting clients. Their criminal activities turn dark when they stumble upon a dangerous situation during one of their heists. As they uncover a web of deceit and danger, they must navigate a perilous game of survival to uncover the truth and escape the lethal circumstances they've unwittingly entered.

  • "Dying To Be Famous"

    Starring Tami Roman, Zonnique, Lonnie Bee, Al B Sure, Jazz Anderson, Reyna Love, and Blue Kimble, "Dying To Be Famous" explores the dark side of fame and social media. It follows a social media influencer who will stop at nothing to achieve success, unaware that her rise to stardom is dangerously linked to her darker alternate personality. As her inner demons begin to take control, the lines between her public persona and personal struggles blur, leading her down a perilous path.

    The movie is set to premiere on Thursday, Oct. 3.

  • "House of Spoils"

    Starring Ariana DeBose and Barbie Ferreira, "House of Spoils" from Blumhouse follows an ambitious chef (DeBose) as she embarks on opening a restaurant at a remote estate. Amid kitchen chaos and mounting self-doubt, she encounters a malevolent presence that threatens her every step of the way, creating a tense atmosphere of fear and paranoia. The film will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 3, on Prime Video.

    Season 2 of "Found" returns on Thursday, Oct. 3. It follows Gabi Mosely, played by Shanola Hampton, as she leads her crisis management team in the continued search for missing persons. The crime drama picks up with Gabi's relentless pursuit of justice, balancing her work's emotional and high-stakes nature.

  • "Nickel Boys"

    "Nickel Boys" is a historical drama film adapted from Colson Whitehead's 2019 novel The Nickel Boys. Set in 1960s Florida, the film follows the harrowing story of Elwood and Turner, two African American boys sent to the Nickel Academy, a reform school rife with abuse and cruelty.

    The movie draws inspiration from the real-life horrors of the Dozier School for Boys, notorious for its violent treatment of students, shedding light on systemic injustice during that era. It is set to be released on Friday, Oct. 25.

  • "The Irrational"

    NBC's "The Irrational" is back with another season on Tuesday, Oct. 8.  It follows world-renowned behavioral science professor Alec Mercer, played by Jesse L. Martin, as he uses his expertise in psychology, body language, and emotions to solve complex, high-stakes cases.
