Porsha Williams: 'I Saw the Hate in Kenya Moore's Eyes'
It seems the whole world has an opinion on the now-infamous fight between Porsha Williams and her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Kenya Moore. Now, Williams herself has spoken out about the incident.
Speaking to Access Hollywood Live for an interview set to air on April 30, Williams says, "I had regrets immediately after."
In the moments before things turned violent between the reality stars on the reunion special of the popular Bravo show, Williams says, "I saw the hate. I saw the anger. I saw all of that in Kenya's eyes in that moment. And I felt threatened, honestly I did, [the scepter] was a weapon."
The reality star claims Moore doesn't have an authentic approach to filming. "For Kenya, she looks at this as a job. It's a show to her; it's just entertainment," she says. "So she doesn't take anything seriously... Here I am living this real life and here she is portraying one."
Williams, who was arrested and briefly held in custody after the fight, argues that she was bullied. "It's not about team Porsha," she says. "I appreciate the love, but understand the deeper thing that's going on here, it's bullying. Bullying can happen as an adult, it can happen as a child, in college, or your work place, everywhere."
Bravo executives reportedly had Williams on the chopping block before the fight took place, but are allegedly reconsidering after her co-stars and fans lobbied for her to stay on the show. Moore, by contrast, is expected to return for the next season of the show.
