NAACP Image Awards: Three Things To Know About Tabitha Brown Winner of Outstanding Social Media Personality
Social media personality and actress Tabitha Brown first took the internet by storm with her vegan bites, southern personality and her charming signature catch phrase “That’s your business,” and now has been crowned with the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Social Media Personality for the 52nd annual show.
Earning the title of “America’s mom,” Brown has amassed over 10 million followers across several social media platforms with her infectious personality and down home feel of her motivational speaking and kind sense of humor.
Appearing on Good Morning America, Buzzfeed, Tasty and more, as a small town girl from Eden, North Carolina, Brown’s charm also won her the opportunity to host her own show on Ellen’s Digital Network All Love with Tabitha Brown.
For those who might not know the bubbly 42-year-old, don't fret! BET.com has the top three things you must know about the wife, mother and actress.
Her Health Equaled Her Wealth
Back in 2016 Brown developed chronic neck and head pain. Her pain plagued her for almost two. It was after she watched the Netflix documentary What The Health that Brown decided to start a 30 day vegan challenge. Within 10 days of changing what she ate, her pain that was otherwise unfixable ended. And so began her vegan journey.
Brown is currently working on her first vegan cookbook Feeding the Soul [Because It’s My Business] which is reported to be published by William Morrow and Company on Sept. 28.
The Camera Loves Her
“America’s Mom” has an effortless stage presence that has helped land her several acting roles. You may have seen her on Princess of the Row alongside Tiffany Haddish or NBC’s hit comedy Will & Grace, and the ABC drama Switched at Birth.

Mommy Duties
Brown always is inviting her family into her viral videos and her fans can’t get enough.
She’s been married for nearly 20 years, and often brings in husband, Chance Brown, on for hilarious segments. Brown’s also popular for having a girl chat with her 19-year-old daughter Choyce or playing around with her 8-year-old son Quest. It's always a fun-filled time at the Brown house and step-daughter, Ty-Leah often shares in the family festivities.
