Kenya Moore and her husband, Marc Daly, have kept a relatively low united profile since secretly wedding in June 2017. Now, for the first time since their nuptials, the couple is speaking out publicly about their marriage, with the entrepreneur specifically touching on some of the public's hate towards his wife.

While walking the red carpet at Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscars party, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star first touched on when she knew the restaurant owner was "the one."

"How could I not know," she told Entertainment Tonight. "Great heart, great person, love at first sight."

The two were first introduced by their mutual friend Chef Roblé and tied the knot in St. Lucia just months after meeting. The brash decision was a no-brainer for Moore, who said she knew this was the man of her dreams on their first date.

"I knew the first day," she said. "I remember calling Cynthia [Bailey] from the show, and was like, 'I just met my husband.' It was that kind of chemistry."

As for Daly, while he didn't say much, he did share his outlook on the heavy criticism his wife received after speaking on their love, in part, on the reality show.

"Honestly, I just laughed at it," he said. "I know I'm real, and she knows I'm real and that's all that matters."

So, now that everything's out in the open, does this mean he will be making a cameo on the show from time to time? Judging from his response, there's a strong possibility.

"You may get a sneak peek of [me]," he said. "That's all I'm going to say... I never said that I refused to be on the show."
