‘Squid Game’ Creator Responds To LeBron James Not Liking The Ending
Squid Game is one of the most talked about series on Netflix. LeBron James had some thoughts and now Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk is responding.
The show, which follows a group of contestants struggling with poverty and endure a horrific game for a massive cash prize, has become a smash hit for the streaming service. James, in a video tweeted out by sports writer Kyle Goon, is seen telling Lakers teammate Anthony Davis his thoughts about Squid Game, saying, "I didn't like the ending though.”

Hwang Dong-hyuk was not happy. Speaking to The Guardian, the South Korean filmmaker sends a direct shot back to King James, saying, "Have you seen Space Jam 2? LeBron James is cool and can say what he wants. I respect that. I'm very thankful he watched the whole series. But I wouldn't change my ending."
Squid Game dropped on the streaming service September 17.
According to Bloomberg, the series will bring in approximately $900 million for Netflix.
