Wendy Williams Returns Home After Entering Wellness Facility
Wendy Williams has returned home after staying in a wellness facility for two months.
According to her publicist Shawn Zanotti, the former talk show host is “home and healing” after checking into a wellness facility back in August 2022, E Online reports.
“Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects. She wants to say, 'thank you to my fans for your love, support and many prayers, I am back and better than ever,’” Zanotti shared in an official statement.
That statement also confirmed that Williams’ comeback was underway but she is also “taking some time to focus on her health and wellness.”
The news on the 58-year-old’s health comes a little more than a year after it was announced that she was dealing with medical issues that would force her to take a leave of absence from The Wendy Williams Show.
For the 13th and final season of her daytime talk show, several guest host’s filled for the “How You Doin?” personality. Sherri Shepherd became a regular fill-in guest host and ultimately replaced Williams’ talk show with her own series, Sherri, which premiered Sept. 2022.
Over the summer, Williams revealed her next career move sharing that The Wendy Experience Podcast was reportedly in the works.
