"I had been planning it for about a year," Ross excitedly shared with the media outlet about his decision to propose in their LA home after three years of dating.

Before the spontaneous proposal, Ross received the blessing from Madrick's mother to walk down the aisle.

"My mom absolutely loves Shaun," Madrick explained. "My mother's a hard woman to please and she definitely loves him and loves the way he loves me."

Speaking of love, Madrick says he valued the intimate proposal, saying he felt like "one of those Barbies on the shelves, the one in the front, the one that gets picked."

The soon-to-be-married couple completed their night cozied up and watched Degrassi. "To me it was perfect," Madrick insisted.
