Black Twitter Is Storming The Internet After The Black Panther Album Release
One week ahead of the dangerously-anticipated Black Panther blockbuster, its Kendrick Lamar executive-produced soundtrack has made a brilliantly storming arrival.
Black Panther The Album released in the wee hours of Friday (February 9) complete with 14 tracks of black brilliance that gives the word “culture shock” an entirely new meaning. Top-tiers of the Top Dawg Entertainment roster K-Dot, SZA, Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul are sprinkled throughout the track list, while other surprise appearances from English singer-songwriter Jorja Smith, Atlanta trap VIP 2 Chainz and the millennial R&B beacon of hope Khalid make their debuts as well.
The project has a little something for everyone in the culture, from pop soul anthems like “All The Stars” and raw, gritty rap on “Paramedic!”
It’s lit, it’s loud, and most importantly it’s black as hell. And Black Twitter is bumping it at max-volume with absolutely no mercy.
