Amber Rose's Mom Joins #SlutWalk With Classic Sign
Amber Rose's SlutWalk is stomping out sexual injustice all over Los Angeles today, sending a strong message to anyone who shames or harasses women for their sexual habits.
With a mandate to “wear what the F you want” in order to contest the idea that women’s attire has any relevance to whether or not she should be victimized, many women made bold statements with their choice of un-dress. One half-naked woman had, "I'm still not asking for it" scrawled across her body.
But speaking loudest of all was Rose's mother Dorothy Rose, who held up a sign reading "F**k Yo 30 Showers" (see below), a completely unsubtle reference to Kanye West's demeaning remarks regarding his relationship with Rose.
“I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim [Kardashian],” he told The Breakfast Club earlier this year, prompting backlash over such obvious slut-shaming, and prompting many to point out that Kim is no Virgin Mary herself.
Rose is doing an incredible job of turning her "reputation" into a platform to empower women.
