Diddy And DJ Khaled Might Be Looking For The Next Hip-Hop Star
Just when we thought Diddy's reality TV days were long behind him, the rap mogul may just be heading back into the world of unscripted series alongside DJ Khaled.
According to TMZ, the two rap luminaries have agreed to serve as judges for a new talent show titled The Four. Mirroring the themes of nationally syndicated competition series like The Voice, the four judges will consist of a music mogul, a producer, a songwriter and “someone to perform onstage with.”
Diddy will (of course) be taking on the role of the mogul and Khaled will play the role of the producer. The other two judges have yet to be chosen, but at least one will reportedly be a woman. The focus of the show will allegedly rely mostly on a blend of pop music and hip-hop. “It will be an ongoing battle, with new competitors trying to knock out the front-runners,” the site explains of the program.
The winner will ultimately receive support from an all-star lineup of music industry superstars to help establish their career. While Diddy and Khaled have yet to sign their contracts, they’re reportedly pretty far along in the production process.
Stay tuned for more details.
