Netflix Drops Teaser Trailer Of Jordan Peele And Keegan Michael-Key’s Animated Film ‘Wendell & Wild’
A spooky animated film that reunites comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, collaborating with director Henry Selick, is in the pipeline.
Netflix dropped a new teaser trailer on Thursday (Oct. 28) of Wendell & Wild that’s slated for release in 2022.
The 30-second glimpse of the film shows two demonic brothers wearing prison stripe attire inside a boombox. In the clip, they are seen applying a cream to a crushed insect that brings the critter back to life. They apparently occupy their time by smashing and revitalizing the bug, which they find quite amusing.
"Keep An Eye On Katsboombox.com," a message says at the end of the trailer. It links to a YouTube music channel.

Netflix hasn’t said much about the movie’s plot, according to Collider. What’s been revealed is that the demon brothers will face off against a demon-fighting nun named Sister Helly and her two followers, Kat and Raoul.
Key and Peele have collaborated to our delight in the past. They are probably best known for their sketch comedy show Key & Peele.
This isn’t their first animation project. The duo’s resume includes voiceover for Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 4. This time around, Peele is the voice of the demon Wendell and Key gives his voice to his brother Wild.
