Kway Rogers And King Bach Pay Tribute To Michael Jackson With Hilarious Dance Skit
Today (August 29) is Michael Jackson’s 60th birthday, and in honor of the occasion, his sister Janet teamed up with social media personalities Kwaylon “BlameItOnKway” Rogers and Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor for a pretty hilarious video tribute.
The trio’s “Remember the Time”-inspired vid is similar to the scene from the original video, except this time, Janet plays queen and auditions performers. Kway and Bach each audition in front of JJ while dancing to her song “Made for Now,” which features Daddy Yankee.
The video was pitched to Janet after Kway met her at the Billboard Awards and apparently, she was all for it. Kway talked about working with Queen Janet and his inspiration for the video.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of the Jacksons, never in a million years would I ever imagine doing a video with such an icon like Janet!” he said in a statement surrounding the video’s release. “I took inspiration from her brother Michael Jackson ‘Remember the Time’ video shoot and she was excited to do a slight recreation! Love that I am carrying his spirit through social media with someone as close as his sister Janet Jackson the queen.”
The location where the video was shot may be familiar to some. It’s the iconic Studio 60, the same location Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, The Weeknd, Future, Gucci Mane, Wiz Khalifa and Kylie Jenner have used for similar projects and visuals.
