Tyga Delays the Release of Careless World Until January
Tyga was all set to follow in the footsteps of fellow Young Money artists Lil Wayne and Drake with his own 2011 album release, but now it looks like the 22-year-old rapper will have to wait until next year. Careless World: Rise of the Last King has been delayed from a December 13 release until January 24.
On Twitter, Tyga said the delay was due to sample clearance issues.
“Ready for y’all to hear the album now if could its so much bullshii [sic]involved with samples and other shi,[sic]” he wrote. “I promise this album will be classic.this is my life!!! Ur gonna luv it."
This is the second delay for Careless World, Tyga's second album. Previously, it had been scheduled for release in November.
Another Young Money artist, Bow Wow, has also recently endured a delay for his own album, Underrated. That project is currently without a release date.
