There was a very special guest sitting courtside as the Chicago Bulls played the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA season opener. President Barack Obama, the most famous basketball fan in the world, stopped by the United Center to watch his hometown team kick off the 2015-16 season.
Joined by his pal Marty Nesbitt and about a hundred secret service officers, Obama looked thrilled as his Bulls charged to victory against LeBron James and the Cavaliers, who lost the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors in the 2015 post-season. The Bulls won the game 97-95, with the President cheering leaping out of his seat as Pau Gasol blocked James' shot, clinching the game for the Red Jerseys. 
Earlier in the day, the President congratulated the US Women's National Team at the White House on their World Cup win while stating that "playing like a girl means you're a badass."
