Jodie Turner-Smith’s Killer Abs are Her Fashion Accessory and We’re Here For It
Jodie Turner-Smith is giving bawdy-awdy-awdy.
The fashion killer attended the 2023 LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend and played no games. Donning a Gucci ensemble, she coupled a shimmering top with a maxi skirt featuring a thigh-high slit. She pulled off a stylish look while also showing off her impressive six-pack abs.
In true baddie behavior, she took to Instagram for a fit check. Her longtime stylist duo, Wayman + Micah, made sure to capture her beauty from all angles.
The “Queen & Slim” star gravitates towards ab-revealing moments as she has been seen rocking the trend several times. From the Gucci bra top and slouchy jeans she sported to a fashion show to the white bra top she threw on for a stroll down the Los Angeles streets, the crop top seems to be the favorite staple in her arsenal.
While the thespian has not shared much about her workouts lately, in mid-September, she thanked her trainer David Higgins on Instagram for helping her to "sculpt this work in progress body." She also wrote that they work out together six times a week.
Higgins has the proof: He shared some behind-the-scenes footage of Turner-Smith putting in the work. “What you see above is the culmination of months and months of hard work and dedication by @jodiesmith,” he wrote.
“When we started working together, Jodie was postnatal and her body was holding onto multiple old injuries. I love rebuilding people’s bodies and helping them to regain their power.”
When it comes to her diet, she hasn’t exactly spilled the tea, but she’s shared a few moments on social media. In Sept. 2020, she gave birth to her first child with her now-estranged husband Joshua Jackson. As a new mom, she jokingly asked on Instagram if it was possible to overdose on lactation brownies.
In July, she also took to Instagram to express her admiration for the Korean food served at a CFDA event. She posted photos of the food, writing, "Shout out to incredible executive chef Losa Yi (@chef_loza_e) for the delicious, thoughtfully prepared Korean deliciousness that I stuffed my face with all night long 😻."
