The feeling couldn't be any worse for Stephen Curry.

After his Golden State Warriors won a single-season best 73 games and he was named the league's first-ever unanimous MVP, Curry's squad coughed up a 3-1 NBA Finals lead and had to watch LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers celebrate on their Oracle Arena home court in Oakland on Sunday night. Oof, that's rough.

With the disappointment and pain of the loss stinging, Curry was able to seek solace and a fresh perspective from the littlest of people — his daughter Riley. Steph informed his adorable three-year-old that his Warriors didn't win and her reaction was priceless.

"'I know. It's OK,'" Curry said to reporters on Monday, recalling what Riley told him as consolation.

The two-time MVP said that Riley's reaction and having the family over at his place Sunday night helped him to appreciate all the good things he has going on his life.

"This game means a lot to us as players and to the fans and anybody who has a vested interest in the game," Curry continued telling reporters. "But at the end of the day, there's still life and you could still win at life, knowing we didn't get a championship this year."

There's always next year and Steph's Warriors still have the pieces to make another title run.
