Today (Nov. 21) is DJ Mister Cee’s last day with New York's Hot 97 radio station. The departure is the second time that Cee has resigned from the station in a year. 

Funkmaster Flex announced the news with an Instagram photo captioned, “Resignation Alert!!! Today will be @djmistercee last day on @hot97 !!! Tune in and wish him well!!!! @djfunkflex”

The respected Brooklyn DJ’s exit follows his attempt to leave in September 2013, after a sexual encounter with a drag queen was exposed. Cee had previously been arrested in May 2013 for soliciting sex from a male cop posing as a prostitute. During his first resignation, Cee said that he had "let a lot of people down" but after a show of support, he changed his mind.

Cee is now the second veteran on-air personality to part ways with Hot 97 this year after Angie Martinez left for rival station Power 105.1 in June.
