One NBA Player Is a Perfect 16-for-16 on His NCAA Bracket So Far
Out of the 13 million brackets filled out on ESPN.com, 14,525 people were still perfect after the first day of the NCAA Tournament late Thursday night.
One of them was an NBA player — Ricky Rubio.
The Minnesota Timberwolves point guard went a perfect 16-of-16, predicting every first-round game correctly on Thursday.
Impressive feat, considering he nailed down all the upsets, including No. 12 Princeton's shocking win over fifth-seed Baylor and 12th-seeded Arkansas-Little Rock's victory over No. 5 Purdue.
Check out Rubio's flawless bracket.
So, what was the 25-year-old Rubio's reaction upon learning he was Mr. Perfect through the first 16 games Thursday?
Hey, whatever the strategy... it was impressive to say the least.
All we know is if Rubio goes perfect on the other side of his first-round bracket Friday, he better play the lotto Saturday because that would be incredible, not to mention put the Madness in March Madness, for real.
