Justin Bieber Tackled While Greeting Fans
All the fans who may have been scared that Justin Bieber may not appear on the BET Awards tonight due to an attack can take a sigh of relief. Reports of injuries are false. The Canadian heart throb is completely fine. The truth? His security guard decided to 'pull a stunt' at the Macy’s unveiling of Bieber’s new perfume in New York City.
Contactmusic.com reports that the 17-year-old was tackled to the ground by someone who jumped the barrier that separated him from thousands of waiting fans. As the singer's security staff pounced on who they assumed was a crazed fan, Bieber managed to be escorted back inside the department store. The singer's spokesperson later confirmed the 'attacker' was simply an undercover police officer attempting to protect Justin from the overexcited crowd. The singer still appeared visibly shaken as he posed for photographs with fans inside the store. Later he Tweeted in a note, "New York. Wild Day," before adding, "ilovemyfans and for those I didn’t get to see today....thank u for your love and support."
