Ryan Reynolds Tried To Praise 'Black Panther' But Got Denied An Invite To Wakanda In The Process

A lot of it had to do with his plantation wedding in 2012.

There’s no doubt that Ryan Reynolds is a big fan of Marvel movies, however his praise of Black Panther isn’t getting the approval you’d expect.

  • While the film was screening across America, the Deadpool star tweeted, “BELIEVE. THE. HYPE. All hail the king #WakandaForever.”

  • People remember things though and social media crucified Reynolds for a plantation wedding he had with wife Blake Lively.

“u got married on a plantation,” a Twitter user tweeted. It is true. Reynolds and Lively got married at the Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina in 2012. Since, people have found the wedding negligent of the history of Black people.

Since making the initial tweet, Ryan Reynolds has not responded to any criticism. What do you think? Does he have a space to speak about Black Panther or nah? Let us know in the comment section. See Twitter's criticism of Ryan Reynolds below.
