Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson Drop Music Video for 'Trouble'
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea gets busted by Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson in the music video for her latest single, "Trouble," taken from her album, Reclassified.
In the opening scene of the cinematic clip, Iggy unknowingly helps her bad-boy boyfriend rob a bank. Wrapped up in the "trouble" that is her boo and after he is put behind bars, the rapper concocts a plan to help him escape.
While speeding down the streets of downtown L.A. in their getaway car Bonnie and Clyde style, J-Hud shows up, playing a no-nonsense cop who cuffs them both and hauls them to jail.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the outspoken rapper detailed the unlikely collaboration: "[T.I.] heard that the Jennifer Hudson track ['He Ain't Goin' Nowhere'], they were looking for a rapper and he was like, 'You should give Iggy a try.'" she said. "So, I tried the verse not knowing if I would be accepted or not and she loved it and that's how I started working with Jennifer."
The "Black Widow" rapper is currently hard at work on her sophomore effort and kicks off her Great Escape Tour with Nick Jonas and Tinashe on April 14 in Fresco, Calif.
