Look: Steph Curry Shares Touching Moment With Young Cancer Patient, Swaps Jerseys
Taking a moment out of your time to spend with a sickly child could mean the world to that boy or girl — especially when the person dropping by for a visit is the reigning back-to-back NBA MVP, Stephen Curry.
The Golden State Warriors point guard understands the value in that, meeting a young warrior in his own right.
According to CBS Sports, the NBA superstar used the Warriors' off day in Indianapolis on Sunday to visit Brody Stephens, a young fan with cancer. The two hit it off quite well, even exchanging jerseys.
Pretty touching stuff right here.
The 7-year-old Stephens has acute lymphoblastic leukemia with doctors giving him a 40-percent chance of beating it.
But like his hero Curry on the court, this kid has plenty of fight in him, having defeated a previous bout with cancer when he was just one year old before this battle with leukemia hit him in December 2015.
We wish this young, brave boy the best in his battle with leukemia and shout out to Steph Curry for this touching gesture. Brody won't forget it any time soon.
