Tank’s day just got complicated.

Sometime after tweeting a birthday shout out to girlfriend Zena Foster Thursday (Oct. 2), the 38-year-old TGT crooner was arrested in Van Nuys, Calif. for failing to comply with authorities. 

According to TMZ, Tank, whose birth name is Durrell Babbs, was pulled over in the Los Angeles suburb for driving and talking on his cellphone, which is against the law in California and typically punishable with a fine. 

He wouldn’t hand over his license to police and the lack of cooperation led to him being handcuffed and subsequently taken into custody, where he remains. It is unclear why he didn’t want to produce identification. 

The father of four (with one on the way) is scheduled to be in Louisiana tomorrow for a release party celebrating his Stronger LP.
