Breaking: Meghan Markle's Dad Reportedly Suffered A Heart Attack And Won't Attend Royal Wedding

Thomas Markle was also called out for selling pics to paparazzi.

Despite several reports detailing Meghan Markle's strained relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, going viral, the two were on track toward putting their differences aside for the actress' big day.

However, those hopes were axed after Thomas was busted selling staged paparazzi photos of himself ahead of the highly anticipated royal wedding.

According to TMZ, Thomas Markle has made the decision to back out of the ceremony to prevent any embarrassment towards his daughter.

In addition to this report, Markle also claims that he suffered a heart attack six days ago, but checked himself out of the hospital in hopes that he would be well in time to walk Meghan down the aisle.

The former Suits actress' father was caught privately collaborating with a British paparazzo to take "candid" photographs of him getting ready for the massive occasion. The pictures reportedly included posed shots of him being fitted for his suit and brushing up on UK landmarks.

While it is reported that he raked in more than $100,000 for the pictures, Thomas Markle told TMZ that not only was the figure not nearly as high as the alleged amount, but that he only wanted to use the money he made to "help recast his image."

The Daily Mail reports that Samantha Markle, Thomas' daughter and Meghan's half-sister, took full blame for her father's decision.

"The bad press over my father doing staged photos is my fault," she tweeted from a protected account. "The media was unfairly making him look bad so I suggested he do positive photos for his benefit and the benefit of the royal family."
