It happens to the best of us: you need to run a quick errand and don't feel like getting dolled up so you throw on your scarf, the nearest pair of leggings or sweats and you roll out, praying you don't see anyone you know. Too bad everyone knows Keyshia Cole Gibson's name, including the paparazzi that spotted the singer in West Hollywood while she was shopping with her son, Daniel Jr.
The “Long Way Down” singer was snapped running errands without make-up, wearing tied-up hair and a casual outfit. She wasn’t feeling the look after she saw the candid pictures that were taken.
“I really dislike when paps catch me with NO MAKEUP!!” she said on Twitter (February 19). She noted her NBA husband Daniel Gibson thinks she’s beautiful even while she’s au naturale, but she’s not used to stepping out that way. “Gib says U look better wit no makeup on. Very sweet but, I’m so used to makeup after all these years. Didn’t think they would catch me tho…..Gotts to be #On when u walk out the door in L.A LOL. They be on it out here.”
You’d think the singer would be used to it: she was once followed by BET cameras for her family reality show The Way It Is and is set to return to TV with a new reality show that just finished wrapping called Family First, which follows her home life with her husband and son. But in case she needs to hear it again: you’re lovely just the way you are, Keyshia!
