Game Won't Be Charged for Alleged Street Fight
After days of investigations Game met with the LAPD yesterday (August 25) to discuss the altercation he was allegedly involved in outside a club in L.A. on Tuesday. Afterwards, reports emerged that the rapper won't be charged in the incident.
According to TMZ, Game voluntarily went to the Hollywood police station yesterday afternoon, joking to the media that his cat was stuck in a tree. But it wasn't all laughs: The Compton rapper was there to defend himself from a police report accusing him of punching a man in the face early Tuesday morning outside Colony nightclub in Hollywood.
Game insisted that he didn't hit anyone, and video of the altercation backed this up, though it did show him yelling angrily and being restrained by friends. After viewing the footage and interviewing witnesses, the LAPD declined to press charges against the rapper.
It's been a crazy couple of weeks for Game. Just two weeks ago he landed in hot water with authorities after he tweeted the Compton sheriff's telephone number to his tens of thousands of Twitter followers, resulting in jammed emergency phone lines. Game has yet to comment on the matter.
