People Are Crying Laughing At This Local News Anchor Keeping It Real During A Crack Of Dawn Black Friday Shoot
The holidays are a time of celebration with family, but they can also be frustrating.
Just ask WNDU-TV reporter Joshua Short. Short got up extra early on Black Friday excited to speak with eager value shoppers. Problem was, no one was waiting outside at the mall he was reporting from.
Josh was outside of University Park Mall in Mishawaka, Indiana at 5:15 am, and along with a competing station’s reporter, was among limited company in arctic temperatures.
"Look behind me. You see the long lines of people," he said before the camera panned to an empty parking lot. "We don't have the big crowd that we expected."
Then, he had a moment of frustration that leaked onto the air.
"I got up at 3 o'clock, excited to do my first-ever Black Friday and it ain't nobody here. I am literally upset right now," Short said. "I don't know why people didn't wake up. They had too much food. I'm going back home, back to my bed and I'm going to sleep."
We feel you josh. See his report below.
