Trevor Noah Announced As Host Of 2021 GRAMMY Awards
Grammy-nominated comedian and “The Daily Show” host, Trevor Noah, will take center stage as the host for the 2021 Grammy Awards airing on CBS on January 31 at 8 PM EST. This will be the first time that Noah will host one of the biggest night’s for the music industry!
“I think as a one-time GRAMMY nominee, I am the best person to provide a shoulder to all the amazing artists who do not win on the night because I too know the pain of not winning the award! (This is a metaphorical shoulder, I'm not trying to catch Corona). See you at the 63rd GRAMMYs!” Noah said in a statement to the Recording Academy.
The hilarious comedian, author, and host headed to his Instagram to further share his sentiments after the special announcement.
“In a year that most human beings would love to forget, there has been one constant force that has brought us together - Music. I’m truly honored to be hosting The Grammys,” he wrote.
Noah has been a breath of comedic fresh air with his nightly “The Daily Show” content that is known for its satirical news reports. He was nominated at the 2020 GRAMMYS in the “Best Comedy Album” category for his “Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia,” based on his Netflix special by the same title.
